From DC to Chi-town....

Shia Labeouf and Director / Filming Crew
Filming Transformers 3

Dennis and I are in Chicago, aka the Windy City*, and are thoroughly enamoured with what Chicago has to offer from food to exercise including picnics in the parks with a symphony playing under the stars. We even managed to score tickets to see the White Sox play against Oakland A's--thanks to Dennis' and Charlie's many years in the US Navy!
We have been on our journey for over one month, covered over 18 states, stayed in the most hospitable homes with fabulous hosts, eaten gourmet meals with family and friends, we have seen our nations capitol and where the masses our country's soldiers have been laid to rest and the eternal flames continues to burn for those who have paid the ultimate price. Friendships renewed. We have walked numerous miles up and down mountains and streets alike with a burning passion to see all that these United States have to offer.
*Just in case there are folks that did not know this, Chicago is named the Windy City because of all of the politicians that live here NOT because it is actually windy. Dennis and I were taken on an architectural tour by boat, which is a must for anyone visiting Chi-town.
