MONTANA!
Dennis found a man on Malmstrom AFB to review the old family video in an effort to help us locate a few more places to "revisit" after all these years. He directed us to Sun Canyon close to Augusta, MT.
We reluctantly left the comfort of Malmstrom Inn and loaded up our gear and headed to Sun Canyon. It was difficult to keep forging ahead the mere 50 miles west of Great Falls due to the beautiful sceanery--THE MOUNTAINS! For a Florida girl it is breath taking. We must have stopped every few miles just to take more pictures. These mountains pale to the sandy white dunes that I grew up with.
We spent the night in a small rustic cabin at Sun Canyon and enjoyed a great hamburger and baked potato and several glasses of wine. Isn't it funny that when you are at home in your warm cozy bed with a toilet a few feet from your bed that you can sleep all night long without one single trip to the toilet. But you go campling and you can't make it through the night without having to step outside in the cold night air baring all that God gave you ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!
Here are the pictures--including the outhouse! P-U!
