Just before driving into The Bad Lands National Park, we stopped at a cute little Prairie Dog Farm. They are really cute--but still a rat! See for yourself!
The pictures of the Bad lands do not do the park justice. It really is quite spectacular.
We stayed at Ellsworth AFB for our 1st official night at camping! We encountered a helluva a thunder storm with quite the display of lightening, however we were just fine--Dennis did a great job staking the tent. Welcome to our new home: CAMP DESTINATION by Columbia! After the T-storm passed, we thought we were in the home stretch for slumber land UNTIL.... we heard a noise that sounded like the Rolling Thunder heading into the campground. Turns out it was an old guy snoring in the next tent only 25 feet away!
This is the weekend before the Sturgis Motorcycle Ralley here and there are more motorcycles than one can imagine. Pretty scary back seat riders.
